Trevi Fountain Restoration: What to Expect to see during the 2014-2015 restoration process.

 

Between June 2014 and Fall 2015, Rome’s famous Trevi Fountain is undergoing much needed cleaning and repairs generously funded by the high end fashion house Fendi who pledged nearly 3 million Euros to help save Rome’s historic fountains.

In its “Fendi for Fountains” initiative, Fendi also funded repairs for the nearby “Quattro Fontane” (The Four Fountains), located in the cross section of Via XX Settembre and Via delle Quattro Fontane. With the restoration process expected to take almost 2 years with an estimated completion by Fall of 2015, what are visitors expected to see when visiting the Trevi Fountain?
